About

A procurement company for owners who are also the procurement department.

Krupalu Procurement sources, buys, ships and installs FF&E and OS&E for hotel and motel properties, from an office in Leeds, Alabama.

Who we are

A small procurement company, built for owners who don't have one.

Krupalu Procurement works with hotel and motel owners on the part of a project that consumes the most capital and causes the most delay: everything that gets carried into the building after the contractor leaves.

Large chains have procurement departments for this. Independent and franchise owner-operators have themselves, usually alongside running the property. We take the whole chain — specification, purchasing, freight, receiving, installation and closeout — and put one accountable party behind it.

We work from Leeds, Alabama, with properties across the country. Projects run from a single floor of soft goods to a full new build.

What we believe

Four positions we'll be held to.

Budget first

A number given before the work starts is worth more than an accurate invoice afterwards. We quote before we order, and we tell you when a budget can't carry a scope rather than discovering it together in month five.

One point of contact

You shouldn't have to explain your project twice. The person who scopes it is the person who answers your call in month four. This is the whole reason smaller firms are worth choosing.

Say it early

Every project has a delay in it somewhere. The difference between a manageable delay and an expensive one is entirely how fast you hear about it and how many options are still open when you do.

Specificity is the proof

We'd rather show you that we know exactly what goes in a guest room, and what it costs per key, than tell you we're passionate about hospitality.

How to judge us

Ask for the budget before you commit to anything.

The fastest way to find out whether a procurement company knows your project is to ask for a line-item scope early, and read it. Categories that are missing, quantities that don't match your room count, lead times that don't reconcile with your open date — all of it shows up on paper long before it shows up on site.

We'd rather be measured that way than on a page of logos. Send us a room count and a target date and judge the document you get back.

Tell us what you're opening.

Send a room count, a brand and a target date. We come back with a budget range — no charge, no obligation.
